Memorial services were held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 25, 1977, in the Durham Community Building with Bro. Audrey Cowan of Cheyenne officiating. Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.
Ed was raised at Durham then he worked at Shattuck and Gage. He was employed in the oil fields in Indiana, Illinois, Kansas and Texas before moving back to Cheyenne in 1974 to make his home.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Survivors are 4 brothers: Fred Cordell, Cheyenne; Buck Cordell, Shattuck, OK; Bill Cordell, Mineral Wells, TX; Roy Cordell, Forks, Washington; 3 sisters: Mary Turner, Oregon City, Oregon; Gussie Rupert, Lima, Ohio; Ruth Thrasher, Denver, Colorado. A host of other relatives and friends.
