There she attended Little Durham School, and later Durham consolidated school.
Gussie left Durham and was married to Johnnie L. Rupert in about 1925.
Gussie passed away at Lima, Ohio January 29, 1983 at the age of 79 years.
She was a Baptist in her belief and served the Lord the last years of her life.
She leaves to mourn her passing one son, J.E. Rupert of Tehran, Iran; three grandchildren. One son and husband preceded her in death. Two sisters Mary Turner of Milwaukie, Oregon; Ruthy Thrasher of Denver, Colorado. Two brothers, Bill Cordell of Mineral Wells, Texas; and Fred Cordell of Cheyenne, Oklahoma. Burial was at Lima, Ohio on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. February 2, 1983.
