Mrs. Manson was a member of the First Christian Church and the church's Loyal Daughters class.
She was born Sept. 28, 1897, in Lick Creek to Henry and Marietta (Haliburton) McCoy.
She married William H. Manson in 1913. He died in 1966.
Survivors include two sons, George Manson of Columbia and Tom Manson of Collinsville; one daughter, Doris Mitchell of Murphysboro; one sister, Ava Randalls of Manito; 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
One daughter, infant twins, one brother, four sisters, two great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild also preceded her in death.
