On Dec. 09, 1880 at the age of 24 years he married Catharine Hertfelder in Berlin (Kitchener), Ontario. Marriage Register #011236.
They had 3 daughters, Ellen 1881-1897, Alberta 1884-1954, and Lenora 1890-1934.
He resided at 581 Queen St. S in Kitchener at the time of his Death.
On Nov. 25, 1932 Joseph passed away from Bone Cancer. Death Certificate #034403.
He was buried on Nov. 27th in Grave #5 in Lot #689 in Mount Hope Cemetery in the Protestant side of Kitchener. He is beside his daughter Ella's tombstone.
