Son of Nicholas Dolloff and Sally Clough.

Married 30 Nov 1793 Chester, Rockingham, New Hampshire to Rachel Locke.

To their union was born 9 children:
Levi Locke Dolloff, Sally Clough Dolloff, Susanna Sanborn Dolloff, Nicholas Blaisdell Dolloff, Mary Dolloff, Margaret Sanborn Dolloff, Elmira Smith Dolloff, Rachel Locke Dolloff, and Abram Dolloff.

The Dolloff's are supposed to be of Russian stock, as the name indicates. Abraham's father died when he was about ten months old, and he was given a home by Abram Hook Esq, a wealthy farmer in Kingston, New Hampshire, who is said to have overworked and abused him. When Abraham was 16 years of age an Uncle called to see him on his way from Portsmouth, Rockingham, New Hampshire to his home in Andover, New Hampshire, and Abraham took the opportunity to accompany him home, where he met his wife, Rachel. They settled in the Locke neighborhood of Bristol, Grafton, New Hampshire. After the birth of their first child, they removed to Bridgewater, Grafton, New Hampshire near the Prescott farm, where they remained about 16 years and then returned to the Locke neighborhood, where Abraham built, on the Dolloff farm, a large two-story farmhouse. The material for the buildings he cut on the farm, drew the logs to the saw-mill at Profile Falls, had them sawed into lumber, and then drew it back. On this farm he passed the remainder of his life. He was a man of strong and unique personality. When nearly 70 years of age, he discarded the use of cider and united with the Methodist Church, and at 80 years of age, discarded tobacco.
