Mrs. Tamer Boal, sister of S.W. Barr and Mrs. Margaret Harper of Tyrone

Mrs Tamer Boal, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. L.R. Lingle, near the Old Fort, not far from Centre Hall, Centre county, at one o'clock this morning, from a general collapse of the nervous system. She had been in delicate health for a number of years, but was able to be about until very recently. She was the sister of S.W. Barr and Mrs. Margaret Harper of this place, and had visited them and other friends here for several weeks last fall. The maiden name of deceased was Tamer Barr. She was born in Mifflin county, this state, on May 18, 1836, and at death was aged 63 years, 8 months and 4 days. In early life she was married to James C. Boal, who died at Centre Hall about six years ago. He was justice of the peace at the time of his death. Two daughters survive, viz: Mrs. Sallie Kline and Mrs. Lingle.
