Rev. John Campbell Barr was twice married. With first wife Jane Hamilton (1828-1878), whom he married in 1855, he had 2 children, Roberta Campbell Barr and Alfred Hamilton Barr. After Jane's death, he married Eliza Gemmill Cresswell (1829-1923) in 1881. There were no children from his second marriage.
