Dr. Robert LeMieux, 86, of Waukegan passed away on Monday, January 8, 2001 at Victory Memorial Hospital.
    He was born October 10, 1914 in Quinnesec, MI and had been a Waukegan resident for most of his life. He had been a member of the Knights of Columbus Waukegan Council and the Waukegan Elks Club. Dr. LeMieux was an optometrist and had practiced in Waukegan for 25 years. He retired from Sears Optical Department in 1977.
    He is survived by his wife, Gertrude (nee Raunio); 2 sons, David (Cynthia) LeMieux of Gurnee and Norman (Linda) LeMieux of Burr Ridge, IL also by, 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
    Private family services were held at 10:00AM, Wednesday at PETERSON AND PATCH FUNERAL HOME, 408 N. Sheridan Rd., Waukegan. Entombment was at Highland Memorial Park, Libertyville. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the National Parkinson's Disease Foundation.
