Mrs. Barton died Tuesday in a Tyler hospital following a lengthy illness.
She was born April 1, 1929 in Brownsboro where she had lived for 40 years. She was employed for 30 years with Sears- Roebuck company in Tyler as personell manager. She was a member of the First Baptist church in Brownsboro.
Survivors include her husband, John Wood Barton of Brownsboro; two sisters, Mrs. Constance Robnett of Levittown, Pa. and Mrs. Wilma Reese of Pasadena, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Mickey Crow, A.B. Boles, Harold Rounsavall, J.P. Parker, Billy Stokes and Ronnie Voyles.
