Deceased Name: Norma Geiger FARR WEST - Norma Hawks Sever Geiger, 80, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2002 at Manor Care in Ogden.
She was born June 22, 1922 in Layton, Utah to Franklin Levi and Chloe Maria Harris Hawks.
She married John Edwin Sever in 1944, they later divorced.
She married Ray C. Geiger on February 14, 1949, their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan Temple. He preceded her in death on April 18, 2002.
She was a member of the Farr West Ward and had been active in name extracting, genealogy and temple work.
She enjoyed hunting, fishing and family activities.
Surviving are one son, John (Paula) Sever, Riverdale; one daughter, Susan (Art) Copeland, Weatherford, Texas; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Colleen Kirkpatrick and Bliss Rassmussen.
She was preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary Chapel in Ogden, 845 Washington Blvd., where friends may call on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Thursday from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
Interment, Aultorest Memorial Park.
