NAOMI M. PRICE
Mrs. Naomi Price, 88, of Plains, Kan., a former resident of Brooklyn, died Aug. 6 in the Lone Tree Retirement Center, Meade, Ks.
Funeral services for Mrs. Price were held Aug. 10 in the Nevenhoven Funeral Home, Brooklyn. Rev. Don Still of Eldridge officiated. Casket bearers were Robert Price, Donald Price, Stacy Farris, Daniel Price, Richard Farris and Mark Potter. Interment was in the Brooklyn cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established and may be left with the Nevenhoven Funeral Home.
Naomi Marjorie Norris Price, daughter of Jacob M. and Jane E. Orr Norris, was born June 29, 1904 at Montezuma.
On Dec. 17, 1923 she was united in marriage to Roland Benson Price at Belleville, Kan. He died in April of 1968. Mrs. Price was a resident of Plains, Kan. after moving from Brooklyn in 1987.
Mrs. Price was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Rebekah Lodge, and Southside Circle, all of Brooklyn.
Surviving are five sons, Jerry of Lawton, Okla., Henry of Beeville, Tex., Donald of Lisbon, Larry of Oevieda, Fla., Richard of Oelwein; daughters Milly Chase of Plains, Kan., Marjorie Topping of Aurora, Colo., Jane Ferris of Versailles, Mo. and daughter-in-law Betty Price of Brooklyn; 27 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter.
Mrs. Price was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, one daughter, and one grandson.
