Steve Petros, 66, of 611 N. Washington St., Apt. 342, died unexpectedly at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at his home.
Born on the island of Crete, Greece, Nov. 18, 1892, he came to this country many years ago and married Edith Shackelford in 1919 at Lafayette, IN. He was formerly employed as a cook. He was a member of the Greek Orthodox Church.
Surviving are his wife and five children; Mrs. Geraldine Henderson of Kokomo, IN. Mrs. Mary Snedley of Beardstown, Mrs. Helen Frazee of Hot Springs, AK. Mrs. Norma Brittain of Washington, IL. and Joeseph Petros of Grand Rapids, MI.
Services will be at Boland mortuary at 2:30 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Fon Du Lac cemetery.
