Peoria – Norma Jean Brittain, 84, of Peoria, IL passed away Friday, July 1, 2016 at O.S.F. St. Francis Medical Center. She was born August 28, 1931 in Kokomo, IN to Steven and Edith (Shakelford) Petros. Norma married Theodore W. Brittain on February 22, 1952 in Peoria, IL.
Surviving are: her daughter Vicki J. (Fred) Faubel of West Peoria, IL, four grandchildren; Martina T. (Amanda) Castro, Herney S. Castro, Yolanda J. (Boomer) Cole, and Jessica Brittain, seven great grandchildren; Demetra J., Tanner S., Destinee M., Olivia N., T.J., Duran T., and Brittain M., and one great-great granddaughter Currencii J. Norma was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Theodore "Teddy" Steven Brittain, three sisters, and one brother.
Norma worked as a cashier and door greater at Wal-Mart for over twenty years.
She was a member of Sunnyland Christian Church. Her hobbies included scrap booking and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
