Funeral Services Held for Mrs. Amasa Sutton
Funeral services for Mrs. Amasa Sutton, about 89, were held in St. Paul and San Diego, Calif. Burial was Feb. 2 at Greenwood Cemetery in Sauk Centre in the family plot beside her husband.
Mrs. Sutton died Jan. 28 in San Diego, Calif. where she had lived with her son Merle Sutton for the past few years.
Mrs. Sutton, the former Nancy Batcheldor (sic), was a resident of Sauk Centre until a few years ago. She was a member of the Congregational church and a charter member of the Degree of Honor lodge in which she served as an officer. She was a graduate of the Sauk Centre high school class of 1892. She was preceded in death by her husband and a daughter.
