"Mary Ellen Morris" of Pleasant Valley Mo, formerly of Dixon was born in Hayden, MO on January 6, 1912, the daughter of John and Nellie Minzes Robertson and passed away in her home on November 4, 1993. She had attained the age of 81 years. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth of Pleasant Valley, three daughers, Lois Pickring of Arkon Oh, Norma Burk of Liberty, and Shirley Dalton of Corpus Christi, TX, one brother, Edward Robertson of Dixon, five sisters: Mabel Hance of Newburg, FAY WOODS, Gertrude Overshon and Mae Ray of Dixon, and Ethelean Hance of Doolittle with 13 grand-children, 16 G-grandchildren and one G-G Grandson with other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held in the Long Funeral Home in Dixon on Saturday, November 6, 1993 at 10 am with Pastors James Bailey and Dorothy Pardon officiating. Organist was Opal Shepprd and soloist was Hazel Schierbaum who sang The Old Rugged Cross. Burial was in the Kenner Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Dennis, Michael, James and Tim Burk, Steven Dalton and Don Pickring.
