Picher May 8—Mrs. May Ellen Sowers, 64 years old, died Saturday morning at her home at Douthat. She was the wife of G. F. Sowers. She is also survived by three daughters. Mrs. Jessie Jacobs of Douthat, Mrs. Kate Gunning of Idaho, Mrs. Retta Dixon of Nebraska, and one son, G. H. Sowers of Douthat.
Funeral services will be held at the family home at 2:00 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. The Rev. J. L. Brown, pastor of the Methodist church will officiate and burial will be in the Miami cemetery. The Green Undertaking Company will be in charge of the funeral.

Brown, pastor of the Central Methodist church in Picher, officiated. Burial was in the Miami Cemetery under the direction of the Green Undertaking company.
