Lucille Green Van Fleet was born in 1915 in New Jersey to Parents Charles Green & Lucy Chaplin Green. Her mother passed when she was a young woman, in 1935, and her father passed in the early 1970's.
She married Donald Van Fleet, and settled in Mount Vernon, NY where they had two children, Clifford & Donna Van Fleet(deceased 2017).
In 1978, Donald & Lucille moved to Clearwater, Florida, where she passed away in 1992, She was predeceased by her husband Donald in 1986.
My grandmother was a strong woman, who told it like it was. She would not let on that she was ever sick, or even felt poorly, and passed away of a heart attack, when the family did not know that anything was wrong. She was survived by her son, daughter, and five grandchildren. (one of whom passed in 2005-Michael Bau) And one great grand-child.
She is buried in Woodlawn Cemetery with her husband Donald, and his parents and grandparents.
