CONDUCT RITES FOR MONTPELIER MATRON

Funeral services for Mrs. L. L. (Pearl) Smith in the Fourth Ward Monday were conducted by Bishop D.N. Meek. The prayer at the morturary was offered by Harold Lane.

Mrs. Lester Armatage played prelude and postlude music. The opening song, "The Perfect Day," was by Mrs. Willard Hansen, Mrs. Grant Rich and Mrs. L.J. Wallentine, accompanied by Mrs. Jefferson Dunford; invocation, Roy Robison; obituary, Ray Davis; vocal solo, "That Wonderful Mother of Mine," Mrs. David P. Jensen; speaker, Bishop Meek; song, "Beyond the Sunset," Mrs. Howard Tolley and Dennis Burdick; speaker, Loyd Sleight; son, "Not Now, But in the Coming Years," Mrs. Don Kunz, Mrs. Doyle Lloyd and Mrs. Clifford Skinner; benediction, William Lauritzen.

The grave in the Montpelier Cemetery was dedicated by LaVere Smith. Pallbearers were LaVell Lewis, Terry Lowell Humphreys, Jackie Lee Toomer, Terrell Windley, Mickey Windley and Darrell Law. Arrangements were by Matthews Mortuary.
