Sylvester "Gene" Brandon, 84, passed away Thursday, April 29, 2010.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Brandon; daughter; son; two stepdaughters; seven grandchildren; a step-granddaughter; three sisters; three brothers; and 17 great-grandchildren.

A son, Kenny Brandon, preceded him in death. Also His grandparents: Joseph M. Brandon and Elizabeth Darling Brandon.

Services were held in Brown's Chapel Baptist Church. Burial was in Monette Memorial Cemetery under direction of Gregg Funeral Home of Monette.
