Ruby Jewell Brandon, 81, of Paragould, died Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at St. Edward Mercy Medical Center in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
She was born in Delaplaine on February 26, 1926 to the late Terry and Myrtle Ivey. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist belief.
Survivors include her husband, Sylvester Brandon of the home; a son and his wife, Danny and Brenda Brandon of Paragould; a daughter and her husband, Linda and Denny Alden of Tyler, Texas; eight sisters, one brother; seven grandchildren, Julie Aldredge and Tom Alden both of Tyler, Texas, Melissa Weaver of Bono, John Alden of Sweetwater, Texas, Terry Brandon of Jonesboro, Kimberly Esposito of Bolingbrook, Illinois And Danielle Thomas of Villa Park, Illinois and eleven great grandchildren.
She is also preceded in death by her son, Ken Brandon and nine brothers and sisters.
A celebration of her life will be held at 10: 00 a. m. Saturday, May 19, 2007 at the Brown's Chapel Baptist Church at Paragould with Rev. Royce Boling officiating. Burial will follow in the Monette Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home in Monette.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Jeff Esposito, Evan Thomas, Tom Alden, John Alden, Philip Aldredge and Terry Brandon and as honorary pallbearer, Tony Weaver.
Visitation will be Friday, May 18, 2007, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Gregg Funeral Home Chapel in Monette.
