Alvin Malden entered into eternal rest on April 22, 2010. He was born in Monroeville, Alabama on January 11, 1921 to the late Cleveland and Mary Fannie Malden.
Survivors include a loving and caring daughter, Ruby (James) Potter; grandchildren, Gregory (Adrian) Smith, Allen Park, MI; Joycelyn Fluellen, Ft. Walton Beach, FL and Melia Potter, Pensacola, FL; four great-grandchildren, two brothers, five sisters-in-law, many other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mt. Canaan Baptist Church with Dr. James S. Young officiating.
Burial will be at Barrancas National Funeral Cemetery.
Viewing will be from noon to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday at REEDS FUNERAL HOME, 3220 North Davis Highway, and one hour prior to service Wednesday at the Church.
