Only eight days shy of the first anniversary of the bombing now known as Bath School Disaster, little Richard Fritz's died long suffering from his injuries.

Even though Richard was the 46th victim who died as a result of the bombing, the official memorial site names still total only 45 at this writing. One might ask the questions, "Were there others?" and "Might it be corrected one day?"

His big sister, 4th grader Marjorie, was one who died at the scene. His father, Francis M. Fritz, was injured in attempting to rescue students and teachers. Left behind with Richard's father were his mother Fern Mary Warden Fritz, and his siblings Norma Jean Fritz, and Charles Max Fritz.

August 2014 Update: Thank you to Douglas Haney for sponsoring little Richard Fritz's memorial. Your kindness is most appreciated.
