Aaron Bricker
The death of Mr. Aaron Bricker, occurred on Monday, March 20 under very sad circumstances. He had been in usual health, and had spent the evening before at the Club. When he did not rise in the morning, members of Mr. W. B. Way's household, where he made his home, went to his room to find him apparently lifeless. The doctor was summoned immediately and found that he had been dead for possibly a few hours, death was due to heart failure. Mr. Bricker had suffered more or less from his heart for many years, but had been in good health recently. He was 49 years of age, and was born in Waterloo County, Ontario. About forty years ago he came west to Aldersyde where the family resided for many years. He is survived by his parents, who have lived for some time in Calgary. A brother, Harvey, is also in Calgary. Two brothers live at Alsask, Sask., and a brother and sister in California. Mr Bricker was well known and highly esteemed in the Aldersyde and High River districts. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Okotoks, also a Royal Arch Mason and a member of the local B.P.O.E. The funeral will take place at High River on Friday, March 23rd. Family services will be held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Way at 2 o'clock, immediately followed with services at the Baptist Church. interment will be made in Highwood Cemetery.
