MONTICELLO — Wanda "Dot" Felz, 92,
of 1120 N. Main St., died at 5:20 a.m.
today in Monticello Healthcare Center.
Born Sept. 23,1902, in White County,
she was the daughter of Clifton and Flossie
Belva Hunt VanMeter. On Dec. 20,1919,
in White County, she was married to Frank
Felz, who died Sept. 23,1970.
Mrs. Felz had lived in White County all
of her life. She drove a school bus,
operated a grocery store at Denny's corner,
was a caregiver in her home for the elderly,
and worked at Monticello Healthcare Center.
She was a member of Hickory Grove
United Church of Christ.
Surviving are two sons, Robert G., Monticello,
and Charles M. Felz, Logansport;
one daughter, Vivian Shaver, Logansport;
13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren;
and one great-great-granddaughter.
One brother and one sister preceded in
death.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday
in Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home, Pastor
Richard Rensner officiating. Burial will be
in Idaville Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday in
the funeral home.
