DIES; SERVICES
AT MONTICELLO
MONTICELLO —Mrs. Flossie
Van Meter, 85, formerly of the
Idaville and Burnettsville community,
died at 9 a.m. Sunday
at Lake Manor Nursing Home
here after an illness of two
years.
Born in Clinton County Aug.
20,1884, she was the daughter of
John and Harriet Wininger Hunt.
Her marriage in 1902 was to
Clifton Van Meter, who died in
1945.
She was a member of the
Burnettsville Christian Church.
Survivors are two daughters,
Mrs. Frank Felz and Mrs. Hilda
Anderson, both of Monticello;
ten grandchildren, 33 great
grandchildren and two great
grandchildren. One son
Merle, proceeded her in death.
Also Surviving are three brothers:
Charles Hunt and Elton
Hunt, both of Monticello; Lester
Hunt, Star City.
Friends may call at Miller Funeral
Home and services will be
there at 3 p.m. Tuesday. The
Rev. Maurice Davis will officiate
and burial will be in the Idaville
Cemetery.
