JOAN BOLLINGER, 60, passed away on Thursday, April 22, 2010, at St. Joseph Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, she work-ed as an LPN with Lutheran Hospital for 20 years. She was also a member of St. Terese Catholic Church and Third Order of St. Francis. She loved her family and enjoyed gardening. Surviving are her husband, Mike Bollinger of Fort Wayne; daughter, Michelle Bollinger of Fort Wayne; mother, Rose M. Diem of Fort Wayne; sister, Karen (Edward) Marvin of Poulsbo, Wash.; and brothers, Steven (Diane) Diem and Thomas (Lavita) Diem, both of Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by her father, Harry G. Diem. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Therese Catholic Church, 2304 Lower Huntington Road, with Rev. David Ruppert officiating. Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road. Burial in Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the church for Masses.
