Michael P. Lecher, 80, of 1324 E. Borley St., died at 7:20 am today in the Golden Age Manor. He had been ill for one year. He was born Jan 20, 1886 in Nebraska, and had lived in Mishawka 49 years coming here from LaGrange, Ill. He married Mary Loomis on December 20, 1926, in Chicago. Surviving in addition to his widow are a daughter, Mrs. Harold Bruring of LaCrosse, Wis. three stepsons, William Loomis of Granger; Douglas Loomis of South Bend; Benjami Loomis of LaCrosse; six grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Bernice Snyder of Belgrade, Minn. three brothers Antone and Oliver Lecher of Belgrade and Isadore Lecher of Kirkhoven, Minn. Mr. Lecher was retired from the Reed Construction Co. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Bubb Funeral Chapel.
