Peter Lecher was born March 29, 1892 at Geneva, Nebr., a son of F.M. and Susan Lecher. At the age of three years he moved with his parents to Hospers, Iowa, where he grew to manhood. The family also lived at Sheldon and Granville, Iowa. He had lived at New London for the past five years. Mr. Lecher had worked at the carpenter trade for many years. He was never married. Peter Lecher, 54, resident of the New London vicinity, died Wednesday evening, March 27 at 10:00 o'clock at the Belgrade Community Hospital as a result of a heart ailment. He was the brother of Mrs. Peter Boever and Mrs. Albert Snyder, Georgeville.
