Mrs. Marietta White, 74, 516 1st Street, Oregon City, died at a local hospital Wednesday morning after a long illness.
Born at Marysville, Kansas, February 1, 1882, Mrs. White had been an Oregon City resident since 1928. She was a member of the First Christian Church.
Survivors include five sons, Louis, Gleneden Beach, Calif., Hal and Lem, Oregon City; Ben, Alaska and Gordon, Portland; three daughters, Mrs. Violet Satterlee, Mrs. Louella Simon and Mrs. Linnie Gray, all of Oregon City; five brothers, Raleigh Farrar, Philippines; Lemuel, Vida, Or.; Harry, Bigby, Idaho; Arthur, Beloit, Kansas, and James, Blackfoot, Idaho; three sisters, Mrs. Grace Fuller, and Mrs. Linnie Weaver, Kansas and Mrs. Hattie Harold, Nebraska; 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday at 2 PM at the Hillside Chapel in Oregon City, with Rev. Howard Hutchins in charge. Internment at Mt. View Cemetery will follow.
