It is a very questionable leap from Northampton, England to Southwark, Surrey, England. The only provable records were from Southwark, Surrey, England where the will of brother Zaccheus Cole names the siblings and their mother Frances. (Frances was not her maiden name.) This is a real leap to Northampton, and claiming their father's name was John Cole of that place. Better to leave blank if can't be proven. Correct information is found in "Great Migration".

Under biography regarding Daniel Cole's wife Ruth Collier. This has recently been verified (see Mayflower Quarterly Magazine, Fall 2020. p.27 "Ruth married Daniel Cole...Ruth was unique among the sisters (Sarah Brewster, Elizabeth Southworth, Mary Prence, Rebecca Cole) in not having her marriage recorded; it is, instead, documented through a deed in which her father, William Collier, named Daniel Cole as his son-in-law." Jeremy Bangs: "Records of the Colony of New Plymouth of New England: Deeds, &c., Vol. II, 1651-1663, p.269-71.

From Cole family genealogy:
"DANIEL appears in the records of Plymouth Colony about 1633 with his brothers, Job and John, as well as John Colier. Daniel was named Freeman 1645 and held several political offices in Yarmouth and Eastham MA. In 1661 he was licensed to retail "wine and strong waters." Daniel married at Plymouth Colony RUTH (unknown). Ruth's maiden name is controversial and some researchers are of the opinion that she was Ruth Collier, a daughter of William Collier; this has not been conclusively proven to be correct. Other researchers are of the opinion that her maiden name was Ruth Chester but with no evidence that this is correct. Ruth was born about 1627; died 15 Dec 1694. Daniel was born about 1614; died at Eastham MA 21 Dec 1694. The estate of Ruth was administered 15 Jan 1695. Both are buried at Eastham Cove Burial Ground, Eastham MA.Daniel Cole Birth: Dec. 1614 in Weedon Bec

Northamptonshire, England. Daniel mother may have been Mary Frances (Maiden name ?) Cole, Daniel father may have been John Cole. This is from the parish records for the villages of Culworth and Weedon Bec in Northamptonshire, England. This is wear the children of the Cole's was baptist at and the names of the both Parents Frances and John Cole in the Parish records.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Please take notice Job Cole and has brothers Daniel, John, Zaccheus and Nathaniel was not born in Southwark, Surrey, England. Daniel, John and Job who sail with William Collier in 1633 to Plymouth Mass. That was the last known place they was living at before coming to Plymouth Mass for the Cole brothers.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(From what i found out Daniel Cole did not come over with brothers Job and John Cole with William Collier. Daniel did not come over until 1639 and lived in Duxbury and then Eastham...Job is the one who was here first...1633 in Plymouth, Duxbury, Yarmouth and then Eastham. Collier came from Southwark in Surrey as his last address, in 1633 to Plymouth then Duxbury.)

Hunt wrote in an article published in The American Genealogist, Vol. 42: ORIGIN OF THREE EARLY PLYMOUTH FAMILIES: COLE, COLLIER , AND CLARKE " . . . proved by the will of Zaccheus Cole of St. Olave, Southwark (Surrey England), citizen and grocer of London, dated 16 Nov 1630 . . . In this will the testator named his mother, FRANCES, his brothers Nathaniel, John, and DANIEL COLE, and appointed his brother, Job Cole, executor. In New England the will of John Cole, dated about 1637, refers to his brothers Job Cole and Daniel Cole; to sister Rebecca and to Eliza Collyer and left legacies to each of Master Collier's men." This is the evidence that the mother of Daniel Cole is Frances (unknown) and that his father whose name remains unknown had died prior to the date of the will.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
