MRS. J. H. ADAMS
Mrs. J. H. Adams, 64, resident of Bluff City, died Tuesday morning at 11:00 o'clock at the Appalachian hospital in Johnson City, following a brief illness.
She was married to J. H. Adams in 1884. She is survived by her husband, her mother, Mrs. W. A. Harmon, and the following children: Mrs. H. C. Reed of Johnson City, W. M. Adams of Bluff City, W. A. and G. L. Adams of Johnson City, F. C. Adams of Kingsport, Mrs. S. H. Trivett of Bristol, and Carl and Edward Adams of New York City. The following brothers and sisters also survive: Raymond Harmon, of Nebraska, Malden Harmon of Wyoming, Mrs. J. L. Moore of Sugar Grove, North Carolina, Mrs. M. F. Tester, and W. M. Harmon of Bluff City.
She had been a member of the First Baptist Church of Bluff City, since its organization.
Funeral services will be conducted from the First Baptist Church in Bluff City, this afternoon at 2 o'clock, and will be in charge of the pastor, Rev. Truett Cox, assisted by Rev. J. M. Good, of Johnson City.
The following pall bearers have been selected: R. A. Sharp, W. C. Beach, Sam Milhorn, Bert Thomas, W. J. Arrants, and J. H. Little.
Flower bearers will be chosen from the women of her Sunday School class.
Following the services at the church, the remains will be brought to Mountain View cemetery here for interment.
