Mrs. Eva May Tucker Brashears, 85, of Huntsville, daughter of Joseph and Mary Boren Tucker, died Monday, August 25, in the Madison County Hospital. She was born April 14, 1884 in Madison County and was a Methodist. Her husband, Bruce Sumner Brashears, preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons, Felix Brashears of Huntsville and Jack Brashears of Springdale; two daughters, Marion Brashears of Fayetteville and Mrs. Kathleen Stanley of Stamps; one sister, Mrs. Floy McGalliard of Ft. Smith; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services was held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 27, at the First Methodist Church with Rev. Wayne Scott officiating. Burial was in the Huntsville Cemetery under direction of Brashears Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Charles Whorton, Jr., Jim Hargis, Jim Scott, Curtis Shrum, Price Fritts and Earl Stokenbury.
