William D. Troup, 75, of 929 Salem Road, Mayport, died Sunday, April 13, 2008, in West Penn Hospital, Pittsburgh.

Born Nov. 9, 1932, in Hawthorn, he was the son of Calvin and Bertha Kunselman Rainey Troup, Mr. Troup was employed as a logger by Ochs Lumber Co.

He was married July 16, 1956, to Hazel M. Bish, who preceded him in death April 30, 2006.

Surviving are three sons, David W. Troup and John R. Troup, both of Strattanville, and Mike E. Troup and wife, Emma, of Tionesta; three daughters, Sara L. Troup and fianc,e, Roger Kaltenbach, of Strattanville, Donna J. Troup of Summerville and Linda S. Allio and husband, Gary, of Ringgold; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He also is survived by a sister, Kay Nolph and husband, Chester, of Brookville; a brother, Theodore Troup of Corsica; and a good friend, Betty Wells of Corsica.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Jacob A. Troup; one brother and one sister.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in the Alcorn Funeral Home, Hawthorn Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home with Pastor James Dietrich officiating.

Interment will be in Alcola Trinity Cemetery, Redbank Township, Clarion County.
