Sarah Stella Bond Rasmussen, 87, passed away September 22, 1991 at a local care center.

Born October 21, 1903 in Heber City to Alfred and Lelia Clift Bond. Married Clyde Rasmussen in Heber City; he preceded her in death following a tragic accident in 1934. Stella attended BYU and Snow College; and later with her daughter, Roma, graduated simultaneously from the U of U, both receiving high honors. Taught 6th grade in the Jordan School District for many years. She was an accomplished artist and donated both her time and art work to many charitable organizations.

Survived by daughter, Roma Mirov, Fremont, Calif.; son, Norman, B. Rasmussen, Midvale; grandchildren, Shauna, Robin, Russell, Christopher, Norman C., and Robert; four great-grandchildren; a sister, DeEsta Jordan, Heber City.

Graveside inurnment Friday September, 27, 1 p.m. at the Heber City Cemetery, 700 North 600 East. Funeral directors, Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, donations in Stella's behalf may be made to the U of U Art Department, University and 2nd South, Salt Lake City, UT 84112.
