Clyde Rasmussen Killed in Lark Mine Cave in.

Clyde Rasmussen age 30, of Draper was instantly killed early Thursday morning while working in a mine at Lark, Utah. He and Rueben Bergman, a former Midvale resident were working underground when the mine caved in, crushing Mr. Rasmussen, which brought sudden death. Mr. Bergman escaped injury.

Mr. Rasmussen was born March 8, 1904 in Draper, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Rasmussen. There he lived most of his life. He has been employed at the Lark mine for about a year.

Surviving him are his widow Stella Vond Rasmussen, a son Norman and a daughter Roma; his parents, four brothers and four sisters. They are Bern Rasmussen of Midvale, Rasmus Rasmussen of Sandy, E.M. Rasmussen of Draper and Lawrence Rasmussen of Salt Lake. Mrs. Claud D. Brown of Twin Falls, Idaho; Mrs. Joe Lambert, Point of the Mountain; Mrs. Agnes Fitzgerald and Mrs. George Stringfellow of Draper.

Funeral services will be held in the Draper Ward Chapel Sunday morning at 11 a.m. with Bishop A.F. Smith in charge and at Heber City Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m. Interment in the Heber City Cemetery.
