Thomas Marvin Vaughn, 75, life-long resident of Eliasville, was engaged in ranching and farming at Eliasville for many years. He was well known in Young and Stephens Counties. He was a member of the Church of Christ. His parents were early pioneers of Young County, Texas.

Services were held at the Church of Christ officiated by Clarence King, minister of Eastside Church of Christ.

Thomas Marvin Vaughn married Miss Mary Findley in September of 1917 at Graham, Texas.

Survived by his wife; two brothers - Willie Vaughn and Floyd Vaughn; three sisters - Mrs. Dona Fawks, Mrs. Mabel Hill, Mrs. Alice Rhea.
