Brought to Cave Hill Cemetery from the Locust Grove home grounds and interred herein 3 May 1916.

There is no individual marker for Nicholas Croghan.

Nicholas was born 19 June 1802 in Jefferson County, Kentucky to William Croghan and Lucy Rogers Clark Croghan. Nicholas was the twin brother of Charles Croghan.

He attended Transylvania University in Lexington, Kentucky 1821-1822 (U.S., College Student Lists, 1763-1924).

Nicholas died in 1826 in Kentucky.
