RALPH WALZ LAID TO REST
Dies at Rochester, Minn., December 17; Funeral Services Saturday
Funeral services for Ralph Vincent Walz, 32, were held at St. Agnes Catholic church Saturday forenoon with Rev. Fr. Flood officiating. Burial was in Calvary cemetery under the direction of the Elmore-Wagner service.
Ralph Walz died at Rochester, Minn., December 17. His body was brought home from there for burial. His last illness was brief, although he had been in failing health since last July.
Born in Clay county, July 15, 1915, he had spent his entire life here. For the past three years he had been farming one of the Edna Peterson farms. He was married November 30, 1944 to Bererly Whittecar, at Yankton.
Ralph is survived by his widow, Mrs. Beverly Walz, his mother, Mrs. Leo F. Walz, Morris, Ia.; by four brothers, Bernard, Delmer, Warren and William, all of Vermillion, and by three sisters, Mrs. Viola Huetson, Denton, Tex; Mrs. Frank Powell, Vermillion, and Mrs. Darrell Grangaard, Bell, Calif.
