Little seven-year-old Barbara Jo Hargrove, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Hargrove of Elkmont, was killed instantly Tuesday morning shortly before 8 o'clock when she was struck by a truck near Elkmont.
The accident occurred between Locke's Crossroads and the Bob Morris residence, East of Elkmont, as the child was waiting along the road for a ride to school.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by two sisters, June and Betty Ann.
