NIX, Horace Pearl, 72, Walls, died July 11, 1980 in Methodist Hospital in Memphis. He was a resident of Walls, MS a retired maintenance man, and member of First Baptist Church in Horn Lake. He was the son of the late Frank and Tisha Aldridge Nix. Services were July 13 at 3 pm in McBride Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Shady Grove Cemetery. Bro Jerry Massey officiated. Survivors include his wife, Ruby Clark Nix, Walls, MS; one son, Kelly H. Nix, Horn Lake, MS; two daughters, Annette Allen, Walls, and Janie Hurst, white House Station, NJ; two brothers, Marlin Nix, New Albany and Burton Nix, West Point, MS; one sister, Nora Malone, Memphis; 9 grandchildren and 3 ggrandchildren. Pallbearers were his grandsons, Glenn Nix, Mark Allen, David Hurst, Kenny Hurst, Johnny Marshall and Eddie Allen.
