He was a farmer and timber cutter. and son of the late Frank and Tes Aldridge Nix, Services were December 24, at 11 am in McBride Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Whittentown Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Sadie Louise Lucas Nix, New Albany; one son, Travis Nix, New Albany; three daughters, Linda Cockrell, Ripley, Valerie Bishop and Judy Hall,both of New Albany; one sister, Nora Malone, Memphis; 11 grndchildren' 9 great-grandchildren.
