Our sweet, loving, mother, great grandmother and wife, Margaret Kloepfer Draeger, passed away peacefully, August 20, 2009 at her home in Orem, Utah in the arms of her devoted husband.
She was born in Logan, Utah, January 5, 1922, to Fred and Margaret (Schaub) Kloepfer, was one of eleven siblings. Margaret married Norman Draeger in the Los Angeles Temple. For 64 years they seldom left each other's side. Her 87 years on earth were filled with service, family and sacrifice. She was a faithful LDS member.
Margaret was well known for beauty, kindness and peacemaking nature. Her love of people and the world shine through in her oil paintings, one of her great talents. A fabulous cook, her oatmeal walnut chocolate chip cookies were everyone's favorite.
Margaret is survived by her husband, four children, Peggy (Steven) Helfman, CA; Debbie (Ken) McCarty, UT; Steven (Dara) Draeger, CA; Linda (Nathan) Harlow, UT. 13 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at 12:00 noon at the Cascade Fourth Ward Chapel, 1051 East 200 North, Orem. A viewing will be held prior to services on Tuesday at the church from 10:30-11:45 a.m.
