NEWBERRY - Funeral services for Mr. and Mrs. James Rubin Humphries, victims of a two-car accident Sunday in Saluda County, will be Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. in Epting Memorial Methodist Church.
The accident, which occurred on U.S. 378 six miles east of Saluda, also claimed the life of Miss Vera Lee Dominick of Newberry.
Mr. Humphries, 65, a Saluda native, was a son of Mrs. Linnie Padgett Humphries Corley of Newberry and the late James Walter Humphries. He was a Kendall Mills employee.
Surviving are his mother; a son, M. Sgt. Derrill Humphries of Bergstrom AFB, Austin Texas; three brothers, George Humphries of Ninety Six, Milo Humphries of Newberry and Walter Humphries of Greenwood; a half sister, Mrs. Lucille Whisnant of Tifton, Ga.: and two stepsons.
Mrs. Martha Fuller Humphries, 51, a Newberry native was a daughter of Mrs. Zula Stribble Fuller of Newberry and the late George Berlie Fuller.
She was a Kendall Mills employee.
Surviving are her mother; two sons, John Kendall Wilson of Newberry and Wallace J. Wilson of Bartlesville Oklahoma; three brothers, George E Fuller of Greensboro, North Carolina, P.K. Fuller of Newberry and Kenneth A Fuller of Greenwood; five sisters, Mrs. Margie Cannon of Charleston, Mrs. Elsie Summer and Mrs. Lavinia Beck of Newberry, Mrs. Bobbie Jean Long of Sumter and Mrs. Woodie Bendenbaugh of Laurens; and a stepson.
