Charles H Smith died Friday after a three weeks illness in his 26th year. He was the youngest son of Mrs E Smith and his home has always been in Moro. He was a member of the Presbyterian church. For a year he was president of the local Christian Endeavor, his time expiring the last day he was present. He was collector of Moro township, this being his second term. He leaves a mother, a brother, five sisters and a host of friends to mourn his death.
The funeral services were conducted at the Presbyterian church Monday by Rev J A Byes. The pall bearers were W A Green, A D Riley, C H Kabel, Lee Sutton, J G Henderson and J B Lanterman. The Christian Endeavor Society adopted suitable resolutions.
