Lydia Ann King was a daughter of Adrial M. King and Jane Young Graves King. She had ten younger siblings.

Lydia Ann King married Thomas Ross Bryan, Sr. on September 25, 1840 in Richmond, Ray, Missouri, per Ray County, Missouri Marriage records. The gravestone shows 1841. They had nine children.

A marriage date of September 25, 1840 is shown in the biographical sketch for Thomas R. Bryan in "The History of Caldwell and Livingston Counties, Missouri. 1886 -- Chapter XX, Chillicothe Township."
