T.C. Eustace, moved to Archer City in 1949. He married in Fort Worth, Texas to Miss Jennie Nation. Following their marriage, the couple lived at Weatherford for a period, later moving to Jack County from where they moved to Archer County in 1928 settling in the Newport community. He engaged in farming most of his life, retiring in 1945. Moving to Archer City, he was the caretaker of the courthouse. he was well known in Archer City and admired by all.

Services were held at First Baptist Church officiated by Rev. W.H. Townsend, of Austin, former pastor of Olney. He had been a member of the Baptist Church since childhood and member of the Masonic Lodge No. 708.

Survived by his wife; six children - Mrs. J.W. Covington, Mrs. P.J. Hulse, Mrs. L.O. Haygood, Mrs. L.E. McCaghren, T.Q. Eustace, L.E. Eustace; two sisters - Mrs. Lora Reed and Mrs. Omie Hess; one half-brother - Joe Eustace; 17 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
