Thomas Allen Eustace married Amanda Helen Clark McDaniel, who was first married to J. T. McDaniel, in 1875. She was Thomas' third wife.

In 1891, the family was living near Aspermont, Stonewall County, Texas. By 1899, they were living at Weatherford, Parker County, Texas where Thomas Eustace filed for his Confederate Pension in 1902, having served in Sibley's Brigade, but the pension request was denied.. After 1902, the family moved to Jack County, Texas near the Joplin community. By 1911, Thomas Eustace bought a barber shop from Jim Pitt at Joplin, Jack County, Texas and rented the Will Roper's place there.

Their children were: Austin Horton Eustace; Evelyn Jane (Eva) Eustace, wife of Oliver Perry Trueblood and later C. E. Christopher; Oma Eustace; Lora Eustace; Thomas Clark Eustace.

Evelyn Trueblood would divorce her husband after 1903 but before 1904. Their children were: Edna L. Trueblood, Elmer Zachariah Trueblood, Lena P. Trueblood. At least one of her children was living with Thomas and Amanda Eustace in 1910 while they were living in Jack County, Texas.

Amanda moved to Young County with her two sons after 1923.
