They had 12 children: Harrison Banks, Harlan Banks, Amanda "Manda" (Lucinda Banks) Ison, Boyd Banks, Eli Banks, Grant Banks, James "Jim" Banks, Ida (Banks) Webb Mulvany, Wesley Banks, Anna (Banks) Sexton Hughes, Golda (Banks) Whitaker and Emma Virgie (Banks) Sizemore.

Bony Banks, 89, Dies At Residence Sunday, July 3

Funeral services were held Tuesday of this week for Mr. Bony Banks who died at his home in Whitesburg Sunday, July 3. He was 89.

Mr. Banks was the son of the late Harrison Banks and Elime Pridmore. He is survived by his wife, Malisia Ison Banks, 79, and six sons and four daughters. The sons are Harrison, B. B., Eli, Grant, Jim, and Wess all of Whitesburg. The daughters are Mrs. Ida Webb, Big Stone Gap, Mrs. Anna Sexton, Whitesburg, Mrs. Goldie Whitaker, Whitesburg, and Mrs. Virgie Sizemore, Hyden.

Funeral services were held at tne residence, witn ministers Felix Fields, Caleb Creech, Riley Fouts, John Sexton and A. R. York officiating. Burial was in the Bony Banks cemetery.

Craft Funeral Home was in charge of funeral arrangements.
