Funeral services for Ben H Darter, 85, of Ozark was held Saturday, at Greer Chapel with Rev. Wayne Taylor officiating. Burial was at Highland Cemetery. Mr. Darter died Friday at Turner hospital after an extended illness. Born March 13, 1889, in Pope County. He was the son of William Henry and Sarah Taylor Darter. Survivors include two sons, Virgil of Ozark and Eulan of Fort Smith; a sister, Mrs. Jane Marshall of Dardanelle; a half-brother, Don Darter of Russellville; two grandchildren, and four great grandchildren, and a great great grandchild.
