Jean Gregg Ramsey passed away on Thursday January 11, 2024. Jean was born August 18, 1925 to parents Elmer B. Gregg and Susan Baird Gregg.

She was a homemaker but was also employed at Beacon Manufacturing Company in Swannanoa and Kearfott Corporation in Black Mountain. For several years prior to retirement, she worked at Peg's Fashion Shop. She was a faithful and active member of the Swannanoa First Baptist Church for many years.

Regardless of the circumstances of her life or what each day brought, the constant smile on Jean's face reflected the sweet personality that was on the inside. She lived her 98 years with an optimistic attitude based on her faith in God's enduring love.

She was preceded in death by her parents, twin brother Carroll, and brothers Don and Joe Gregg. Also preceded in death by her husband, RP Ramsey and son, Terry Ramsey.

Survivors include grandsons, Jason (Jamie) and Dustin Ramsey, and great grandchildren, Victoria, Lauren, Jason Jr., and Alexandra Ramsey. She is also survived by a special sister-in-law, Luetta Gregg and nieces and nephews.
